This is a 3.5-star review if you want to get specific.

We ordered: General Tso's tofu with extra broccoli, veggie lo mein, veggie fried rice, and veggie spring rolls.

The low point was the tofu. It was mediocre. I prefer my tofu dipped in cornstarch and fried so it has a little coating and gets crispy in spots, this was plain. The sauce was good, though, not sickly-sweet like other places around. And they actually gave us extra broccoli, which we always order but rarely get.

The fried rice and the lo mein were both the best I've had in recent memory. Very flavorful and full of veggies. Even the spring rolls, which I swear every place must get from the same supplier because they're always identical, tasted a bit fresher.

Ever since China Moon changed I've been on the hunt for a new regular Chinese takeout spot, and I think this is it. If they added scallion pancakes to the menu and fixed the tofu, I'd give them five stars!

I have not ordered here in few months but previously food had been good and portion size adequate for pricing.  Ordered a large sparerib and a large house lo mein  on 11 November 2018.  I noticed the people working were not the usual owner and his wife.  I don't know if the place is under new ownership or if these are employees but the end result were portion sizes approximately 1/2 of what they had previously been. The large spare ribs are $13.95, used to be served in a square take out box that was FULL with ribs.  Tonight the box was 1/2 the previous size and contents comparable in size  to what a small order used to be.  The "large" house lo mein was served in a tiny little box. The only thing that was not 1/2 the size as it used to be were the egg rolls.

I hate to slam a local place and my previous reviews of Imperial Palace have always been positive but tonight I was NOT satisfied. What was served was grossly overpriced compared to the portion size of an order a few months ago. I've been a customer since this place opened and I will give them another shot but if tonight is the indication of a new business model, this business is going to fail.....

Do not stop at this dive. They can it even get a 3 appetizer order correct. Drive home 30 minutes, 33% order was missing. Only good part of visit was the nice young lady who took. Y order. Owner woman is most likely used to running a massage parlor!

My son and I went here to try it out. Sorry to say it was completely disgusting. We didn't even finish our meal and left. I would not recommend this place at all.
